Party add-ons: your questions answered
Can I book a La Folie add-on without a party package?
Yes for most of them. Shows and performers, food and sweet stations, inflatables, décor items (backdrop, helium balloons, foil letters, piñata, kids' tables and chairs), the face painting booth, the interactive zoo and the sensory corner can be booked on their own with 5 days' notice: tap "Book on its own" on the card and the team confirms on WhatsApp. The Giveaway Craft Station, Crazy Science Lab, Treasure Hunt and Aquatic Fun come with a birthday party, a playdate or a Social Fun session. Party favours go with a birthday party or a décor booking. The giveaway stand needs a birthday or a playdate, the Pyjama Party kit a birthday party, and the inflatable guardian an inflatable.
How are La Folie's 56 party add-ons organised?
La Folie's 56 party add-ons are sorted into 6 groups on this page: shows and performers (10), activities and workshops (8), play and inflatables (24), food and sweet stations (5), decor and styling (7), and team and extras (2). Open a group to see every add-on in it with its price, photo and description, or use "Show everything" to open all 6 groups at once.
How much notice do La Folie party add-ons need?
Every La Folie party add-on needs 5 days' notice. Shows, décor, food stations and inflatables are prepared with La Folie's team and trusted suppliers in Dubai, so 5 days lets the team confirm availability for your date.
Can I still add something if my party is less than 5 days away?
Yes. Add it to your booking request anyway. La Folie will absolutely try and often makes it happen, but availability depends on the season and on suppliers, so it cannot be promised in advance. The team confirms within 24 hours.
Are there delivery or transport fees for add-ons?
Yes, and each transport fee appears as its own line in your booking summary. Décor items share one transport fee of AED 280 + VAT per party: the backdrop set, kids' tables and chairs, candy wall and giveaway stand. The piñata and the Pyjama Party Game Kit each have their own transport fee of AED 50 + VAT. Helium balloons and foil letters travel together: delivery within Dubai emirate is AED 50 + VAT per car, one car carries up to 20 balloons (so 21 to 40 balloons is AED 100 + VAT), and the minimum balloon order for delivery is AED 300, helium balloons and foil letters combined. You can also pick them up free of charge from Downtown Dubai; delivery outside Dubai emirate is quoted on request, and a minimum charge applies. The ball pit and soft play share one transport fee of AED 280 + VAT. Inflatables travel by truck at AED 280 + VAT per truck, and one truck carries up to 2 inflatables. The 5% bundle discount applies to add-ons, never to transport.
How much does a piñata cost at La Folie?
A La Folie piñata without candies starts from AED 350 + VAT, and a piñata with candies starts from AED 480 + VAT. Piñatas come in 2D or 3D and in 4 sizes from Small to XL, and the team confirms the final price for the size you choose. The stick is included, and the piñata always has its own transport fee of AED 50 + VAT.
Do add-on prices include VAT?
No. All La Folie add-on prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and exclude 5% VAT, which is added to your total. Prices marked "starting from" can vary with size or numbers, and the team confirms the final price. Ball pits, the bubble dome, party favours and the 4-in-1 Carnival Game are priced on request.
How do I add an add-on to my La Folie booking?
Tap "Add to my party" on any add-on. It opens the La Folie booking builder with that add-on already selected. Pick your theme, package and date, then send your request. The team confirms every add-on and sends a separate invoice for them.
